The steel coil packaging process with VCI pape and H-protector

1.       In order to proceed with new  proposal, we need primarily  some  documentation and clarifications  as follows:

1.1   Short Description of the Scope of Works.

                                          To pack and secure the coils with corresponding pack code as per the requirement of the customer.

1.2   Short description of the actual manual wrapping operation sequence and wrapping material used during the wrapping process for:

ü  Cut VCI paper as per requirement of the coil.

ü  Lift coils by EOT crane from production area to the packing area.

ü  Put the coil on VCI packing paper.

ü  Put VCI packing paper at inner diameter of the coil and paste paper with masking tape at inner diameter edges of the coil.

ü  Envelop paper with masking tape on the outer diameter of the coil.

ü  Fold VCI paper on eye side and paste with masking tape at inner diameter of the coil.

ü  Check VCI paper if covering on both eye sides of the coil from outer diameter to inner diameter properly.

ü  Put carton edge protector at inner and outer diameter of the coil together with inner metal sheet.

ü  Insert the galvanized inner diameter ring at inner diameter of the coil on both sides.

ü  Use polyester strap and by using pneumatic / battery operated polyester strapping tools.

ü  Put galvanized steel edge protector at outer diameter edges of the coil on both sides.

ü  Secure the edge protectors by having one (1) circumferential Polyester strap by using pneumatic strapping tools.

ü  Make four (4) eye straps of plastic straps using pneumatic strapping tools.

ü  Cut VCI paper and metal sheet as per requirement of the coil.

ü  Lift the coils by EOT crane from production area to the packing area.

ü  Envelop VCI paper with masking tape on outer diameter of the coil.

ü  Envelop coil with galvanized steel outer diameter sheet and make one outer steel strap & metal seal along with plastic pad by using strapping tools.

ü  Return the coil to the packing area by EOT crane.

ü  Put VCI packing paper at inner diameter of the coil and paste it with masking tape.

ü  Fold VCI paper on eye side and paste with masking tape at inner diameter of the coil.

ü  Check paper if covering on both eye sides of the coil from outer diameter to inner diameter properly.

ü  Put carton edge protector at inner and outer diameter of the coil together with inner metal sheet.

ü  Put galvanized steel side cover together with the galvanized inner diameter ring on both eye sides of the coil.

ü  Put galvanized steel edge protector at outer diameter edges of the coil on both sides.

ü  Secure the edge protectors by having one (1) circumferential steel strap & metal seal along with plastic pad using strapping tools.

ü  Make four (4) eye steel straps & metal seal along with plastic pad using pneumatic strapping tool.
